Meet Akhtar – Your Counselling Partner
Akhtar is a compassionate and experienced counsellor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. He began his career with Victim Support, supporting people affected by trauma, bereavement, and domestic abuse, and later worked with the NHS, providing assessments, referrals, and guidance across Milton Keynes and London.
Since 2004, he has specialised in Behaviour Therapy and Family Counselling, creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel heard, build confidence, and strengthen relationships.
Akhtar’s holistic approach recognises each person as unique, blending professional expertise with genuine warmth and understanding. He also mentors colleagues, works under supervision, and shares practical insights through his blog, helping others on their journey to wellbeing.
